Review of From Within (2008) by Sophie P — 12 Aug 2009
This movie had some of the creepiest elements I've seen in a horror movie in a few years. A supernatural curse that makes you your own worst enemy so you can't get away with it (those personal haunting scenes were what really sucked me in), and redneck Christians on a crusade against something they don't understand. (sometimes there is simply nothing scarier than people who will go to extremes for something they know nothing about purely because they are unwilling to attempt to understand it).
The main actress looked too young for the part but had the skills to pull of the role.
