Review of From the Life of the Marionettes (1980) by Tommi A — 22 Aug 2008
I was quite surprised to find out that this film is in German although it is directed by Ingmar Bergman. The story of the film made me think of how utterly confused, cruel and crafty couples can be to each other and how easy it is to repeat as well as pass on (to ones spouse and the next generation) emotional trauma received in the childhood home.
Not for the faint of heart!
