Review of From Russia with Love (1963) by Ruhan R — 10 May 2010
Growing up I have always heard about how Bond films were just so great. After watching some of the Brosnan ones, I was entertained but not astounded. This was my first Connery Bond film and I was truly pleased.
For 1963 this was an extremely bold movie. Everything about it was just classy. The plot felt a little dated at times but it was still a marvelous movie. Connery's acting was simply top-notch, I now see why he is often called the greatest Bond.
This movie was all about swag and it did it right. The dialogue, costumes and all around cinematogrophy emnated that timeless spy smoothness.
