Review of From Russia with Love (1963) by Mike S — 10 Oct 2010
From Russia with Love expands on the Bond formula to perfection, and makes the name James Bond (and Sean Connery for that matter) synonymous with Hollywood. It introduces Ernst Stavro Blofeld (who is a never-ending quest to stop you, Mr.
Bond), the traditional song that correlates with the film title, and it also features one of the most intense fights in the history of Bond. Yet it still falls slightly short of Goldfinger in regards to the greatest Bond film.
