Review of From Russia with Love (1963) by Vebis Jr J — 18 Jan 2011
I love this film. I can sit back and watch this movie multiple times and never feel tired of the movie. What makes this THE best bond is Connery himself, he finds the reight niche for Bond where he can be funny and charming at one point, but violent and ruthless when it was necessary.
The screenplay deserves much of the credit as it goes to it point and mold an identity for all of the characters involved. The action is the film is first rate as it holds up very well for a film that's almost fifty years old.
Young Bond fans NEED to see this film to gai an understanding as to why James Bond is the icon he is.
