It's definitely not as cool as "Dr. No". Sean Connery as Bond was far more interesting as a spy/detective rather than an action hero running around shooting and blowing stuff up all the time.
The fact that the bad guys are so cartoonish here doesn't help either. But I guess that's what the Bond franchise is all about...
