Review of From Paris with Love (2010) by Stephanus W — 23 Aug 2011
Somewhat entertaining in a "that's so ridiculous it's funny" sort of way, but ultimately unfulfilling and a waste of time. This is basically 90 minutes of John Travolta blowing things up and shooting people, highlighted by Jonathan Rhys-Meyers trying very hard to pull off an American accent, and all of it muddled by a vague and inconsistent theme that has something to do with love or determination or whatever.
Flat characters, predictable storyline (including the "twist"), seen-it-before action sequences.
