Lots of action, well filmed and edited, but somewhat pointless and tiresome. Comparing Pierre Morel, even favorably, to John Woo begs the issue, since the style exhibited here is more than ten years old and everyone, especially Woo, has gone on to more interesting things.
"Taken", Morel's last film, was more muscular and engaging. This is mostly just a mindless shoot 'em up.
