2: Wow. The special features alone were worth it, at least for me. Hearing these fine gentlemen talk to me about spies in every city, embassies, deep cover, covert operations, operators, cell phone tracking, etc was pretty amusing.
I suppose this must be fascinating to some, but it simply makes me laugh. I'm obviously not going to say why as I would be tried for treason. I guess its just seems funny when you hear individuals speak about things are incredibly mundane and standard and try to make it seem exotic and incredible.
The problem with this picture is that it is absolutely non-stop action with no brains. There is no chance for reflection or respite from the mayhem. It is all boom, boom, boom. I much prefer a film with a bit more dialogue and message.
I suppose this picture has its place, and I suspect there are times when I would be more than in the mood., but this was not really one of them. Too bad, because the action isn't bad. It's a bit too barebones and frenetic to really it its stride and draw the viewer into its world.
