Review of From Mexico With Love (2009) by Jorge O — 11 Feb 2010
A film that seems lacking somewhere. It is not because there is no action - there is, but not in excess. Nor is it because there is no drama - there is, but again not in excess. As an introverted story it does not really work either.
But even if the ending is in some ways predictable, there is still several sides of the film which were moving - which gives it three stars in my book. Plus a great supporting performance from the great actor Bruce McGill.
