Unfortunately this movie isn't *so* terrible that it turns out to be hilarious. Its just bad. I am pretty sure they had the songs written first, and then wrote various Dirty Dancing and teen romance cliches around it in an attempt to make the plot go somewhere. Its like a bad SNL sketch where people inexplicably break into song and choreographed dance routines at the drop of a hat.
The moral of the story is don't channel surf at 2am on a Saturday night. Just go to bed.
