Wow pearl harbor should've taken notes from this film. They just dont make epics like this anymore. Amazing acting, drama, story, screenplay, characters, and directing. It was a layered story with different subplots that kept it paced well.
The romance stories were great n it brought romance to another level with the beach scene. I also really felt for the officers wife, so sad. I liked how strong the characters were in their convictions, excellent characters and I was surprised by the ending.
