The best way I can describe this is as follows: Eliza Dolittlex5 + Oscar Wilde+Sherlock Holmes+Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde+ Dan Brown+Maxwell's Silver hammer+other bits of history and literature I forgot to mention+ lots of gore+ lots of laughable drama+lots of opium and absinthe blended together with sugar cubes+Bilbo Baggins= this movie.
