Review of From Hell (2001) by Grëg W — 30 May 2010
The story of jack the ripper and the detective frederick abberline (johnny depp) who is chasing him. i've been wanting to see this for some time, and when I finally got the chance to finish it, I was quite disappointed.
while the story is true and a lot of the characters are engaging, the film just drags along so much and ends up being a boring plodding mess that really isn't worth watching.
