Review of From Hell (2001) by Linette L — 11 Jun 2009
Very atmospheric movie and though it is a little predictable at times, it's still a well-crafted crime thriller; I liked Johnny Deep a lot in his role of the delirious, opium-grazing inspector. Not a revelation, but a sweet little love story in an enjoyable, grasping movie well worth a watch, even if the end was unnecessarily melodramatic.
