Review of From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (2000) by Emma J — 24 Jan 2010
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. It was never gonna be amazing due to the low budget, but it's a decent Friday night movie. Story is similar to the first movie but with a western theme and tells the story of Satanico Pandemonium (Salma Hayek's character in the original).
Not bad at all Temeura Morrison (Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequels) is pretty good as The Hangman (the main baddie), Michael Parks is good as the character that links the story together and there are some decent set pieces as well.
Plus just like the original you can't always guess who's going to get bitten which was one of the best things about the first movie. Some slightly dodgy acting in places and it's nowhere near as good as the original but as a prequel it's not bad at all (and is better than From Dusk Till Dawn 2 by quite a long way).
