Review of From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (2000) by Lisa Michelle A — 13 Jun 2011
Not one of those movies you own because you went to the store and bought it. It is one of those movies you own because you bought it in a discount Dusk Till Dawn 3-pack. I wouldn't watch it again I don't think, but I was entertained because it was a great nod to the 1st movie. A pack of bandits, a hangman, and a revolutionary gringo all are reunited at The Titty Twister where another gory showdown goes down.
The structure was almost identical to the first movie, exposing all the vampire horror at the end of the movie, but the fight scenes at the end weren't nearly as memorable. They use super flashy editing, strobe lights and techno music at the end to to make it look more like a Blade fight scene. I feel like they could have taken parts out of this movie and it would have been so much better. Overall it is worth a single watch for all huge Dusk Till Dawn fans like myself.
