Review of From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money (1999) by Leonardo - Malacay - S — 13 Feb 2009
I only got this movie because Bruce Campbell was in it, or was he? Man was I ripped off. I should have did my research. He?s in the movie for probably shorter than it takes bats to bite through an elevator cable, which would seem like a long time in reality but wasn?t in this movieland. And this was made by Bruce?s friend? Put him in there for more.
After that initial disappointment, the movie wasn?t a disappointment, because I expected it to be bad. And it was. Not much to it, but when the bats are really the menace for the majority of the first half, then you?re in trouble for a vampire movie sequel. And the director is very preoccupied with the POV shot. It made it awkward in some parts. Nothing great or unique, just mindless b-movie stuff that you can pass on.
