Review of From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) by Donald W — 23 Nov 2011

This another of Quentin Tarantino's ulta violent movies. The violence is over the top, cartoonish, and unbelievable. The first half of the movie is a crime drama with gun fights and explosions. The second half is a vampire movie.

But the vampires are easy to kill and far outnumber the the non-vampire characters. In the middle is the best part of the movie which is Salms Hayek's sexy table dance. That five minutes is the best reason for watching the movie.

I saw this movie on VHS the first time. I now have a Canadian DVD I ordered over the internet. Cheech Marin plays three characters. His character outside the strip club/biker bar has the best lines of the movie.
