The first 35 minutes are superb. I dare to say that the first 5 are some of the best five minutes I've ever seen in a movie. Then comes the horror-splatter part. A bit weak in the beginning, more convincing with the time passing by.
Tarantino shows himself as a true psycho once again, this time also with a really convincing role!
