Review of From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) by Tre Bluey O — 25 Sep 2012
This was one of my dad's favorite movies so I have faint memories of bits and pieces of it growing up. I finally got to see in whole when I was about 14. I loved it and the idea behind it. At the time, I wasn't into movies as much as now so I had no idea who Quentin Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez was.
The cast is perfectly star studded from George Clooney to Harvey Keitel. Not to mention the multiple hilarious character portrayals by Cheech Marin. It will go down as putting Rodriguez down in the book of greatest action horror directors, but I think his best work is still Planet Terror.
Regardless, this film is great if you enjoy vampires, creatures of the night, guns, and a few laughs. Dont let this one by you for that reason.
