Review of From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) by Edgar C — 31 Oct 2011
This dish from 1996 marks the ending of the early era of the kickass and wonderful, guilty-pleasure creator Robert Rodriguez. In the 80s, there was a splatter called Re-Animator. In the 90s, excluding New Zealand's unmatched Braindead (1992), there was an irresistible splatter show called From Dusk Till Dawn with a Mexican wet dream called Salma Hayek. Of course El Mariachi (1992) was the only Rodriguez delivery not influenced by Tarantino, but he (Rodriguez) was smart enough to keep his signature. I freakin' love this.

79/100.
