Review of From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) by Brandon S — 27 Sep 2012
The first collaboration of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez that helped launch George Clooney's career into superstardom is still just as good as the day it came out. Two brothers on the run after a robbery resulted in multiple murders are killing anyone who gets in their way decide to hold a family hostage to hide in their RV to sneak across the border.
Once across the border the group goes to a strip club to meet up with the guy to help them out in Mexico, only it's not your normal type of strip club once the sun sets. The film is like a massive collision of different film genres that somehow works greatly due to the fact of the biting screenplay and the high paced directing that seems like it's from decades ago, but looks fresh.
