Review of From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) by Logan M — 26 May 2015
Long before "Grindhouse", Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez collaborated on this wonderfully original horror film. Written by Tarantino and Directed by Rodriguez, it gives us the tale of two criminal brothers, who rob a gas station and hijack an RV with a a Christian family inside.
..they then take the RV to a bar that is only open at night, the Titty Twister, which is actually frequented by vampires. The movie is fun and exciting, and just plain works. The first half is pure Tarantino until the RV hits Mexico when it becomes pure Rodriguez.
..and mayhem ensues.
