Review of From Beyond (1986) by Road B — 16 Oct 2007
Stuart Gordon's H.P. Lovecraft adaptions are awesome. I dont like everything Stuart Gordon puts out (Kingdom of the Ants) and I don't like everything Jeffrey Combs puts out (MoH-The Black Cat).
But these two work, and this movie wouldnt work without them. Throw in Ken Foree and awesome special effects (Craig Nicotero, but im not 100% sure) and you have a great creature movie with story and acting to back it up.
It's over the top, and it's just how you like it.
