Review of From Beyond (1986) by Kevin N — 08 Sep 2008
This is a spectacular horror movie, almost on par with "Re-Animator". Stuart Gordon is a master at unleashing fun characters into unrelentingly scary situations- and the characters are especially fun when played by Ken Foree and Jeffrey Combs.
The effects are beautifully done, and the result is a creepy little rendezvous a la H.P. Lovecraft.
