Review of From Beyond (1986) by Mark N — 15 Apr 2012
Amazing visuals do great justice to this Lovecraft inspired tale of otherworlds and trans-dimensional beings corrupting the living. Earnest acting sells the drama that could so easily slipped into farce. The variety of effects work is staggering in detail and shot cleverly to avoid flaws, making the world of bizzare horror come to life. Possibly my favorite horror movie of 86.
If you ever wanted to see Ken Foree clad only in underpants and wielding a knife.. then this is for you.
