Review of From Beyond (1986) by Adam R — 13 May 2009
I guess it's OK for a B-Rated movie, I just didn't like it that much. The monster effects were good for a movie made in the 80's but, I don't think it would pass in today's market. The story was a little weird, almost too weird for me.
I think H.P. Lovecraft horror like this is better left to the imagination and written in a book. I also didn't really understand the sexual perversions in the story, it just didn't seem like they fit and I'm sure they could have done without them.
