Review of Frogs! (1991) by Cullen O — 29 May 2011
This movie was Ribbiting. For a movie called "Frogs" one would assume the frogs would pull off at least more than one kill. Final Kill counts were... Frogs / Heart Attack = 1, Turtles = 1, Alligators = 1, Lizards = 1, Spiders = 1, Snakes = 3, Birds = 3.
My favorite part of the movie was a clear amount of product placement from Coca-cola, and an animated frog eating a hand in the closing credits of the movie. The enviormentalist agenda croaked, seeing as the movie made me want to kill more animals than save the environment.
What seemed to be the driving concept behind this movie was that the frogs were the ringleaders in an apocalypse, also known as a Frog-pocalypse. The movie was slow, un-interesting, and all around dry.
Yet, I can sanely say it was not the worst movie I've watched (the Landlord takes that spot).
