Review of Frogs! (1991) by Bill B — 18 Oct 2013

I remember seeing this one on the shelf at a video store when I was a kid, but I never got around to watching it until now. With a decent cast and premise, this one is well put together, however it's a horrible concept.

I love absurd b-movies, but I found it nearly impossible to suspend my disbelief to make the film work--frogs inciting a rebellion of the swamp animals. All it would have needed is a couple lines of dialogue about some telepathic powers the frogs had and I could have bought the death scenes and the complete story! Too bad the great Sam Elliot has this one on his resume!
