Review of Fritz the Cat (1972) by Eric R — 08 Aug 2009
A hodge podge of drugs, violence and sexual deviance, Fritz is not your typical cartoon. We follow Fritz through the 1960's as he tries to figure out what to do with his life. The film is very controversal for the time but once you get past that there really isnt much there.
The artistry and creativity involved in creating this film definetly deserves some merit but I wish the film was actually a little smarter and I much prefer most of Ralph Bakshi's other work.
