Hey I am one of those who fondly remember the 80's version of this and the inferior sequel. But I have to say I enjoyed this updated version. It's pretty slick fast paced and has plenty of cheap scares.
And thankfully it retains a lot of the humour that made the original so popular. David (Ex Dr Who) Tennant has loads of fun chewing up every scene he is in. Worth a watch that's for sure.
