Review of Fright Night (2011) by Jimmy M — 04 Apr 2012
A fairly well acted film with the exception of Farrell and Mintz-Plasse who ham things up a bit too much for their own good. Solid cast and premise are squandered by mediocre writing and direction that plays more like an episode of Buffy than a motion picture.
It's rushed with the characters and relationships never really being developed. The film also lacks any real suspense. The plot is also fairly obvious with no real surprises.
