Colin Farrell is the stand out performer in this update of a classic comedy- horror film. David Tennant camps it up as the fake vampire slayer Peter Vincent. Anton Yelchin is great as the hero of the piece.
in fact the only let down is Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Evil Ed he's just too much of a nerd to be bad!
