Review of Fright Night (2011) by David W — 10 Jan 2013
Suffers from all the usual post millennium horror pitfalls. Characters are poorly developed, key events are rushed in favour of "cool" action sequences, theres too much reliance on terrible CGI, its too timid and bloodless, and compelling, dramatic ideas are dropped in favour of vacant tween friendly non-drama.
Only David Tennant emerges from this mess with any real credit, and he doesn't appear until past the halfway point!
