As a fan of the first film, I am truly disappointed by this remake. It did have a lot of potential, with advances in film that would have updated the original, but the entire movie felt rushed. I found myself asking "This is happening already?" a lot more than I needed to.

So many things felt rushed that had you not seen the first one, it would have left you wondering what on earth was going on. Some of the dialogue and jokes were cringe-worthy at best. I didn't feel anything for any of the characters.

Don't bother with this - just watch the original.
