Review of Fright Night (1985) by John B — 05 Jun 2010

I just heard the news. They're making a new Fright Night. Calling the original a classic doesn't really do it justice. It makes it sound old, almost dusty. The story-telling still clips along. The jokes still make me laugh and Chris Sarandon still makes one heck of a vampire.

And who can forget the line, "You're sooo cool Brewster?" Of course, there are some flaws to it; it's by no means a perfect film. But talk about a movie that doesn't need to be remade .

.. this is it. It better be good. Otherwise, I'm going to write a bad review for it, and up near a dozen people might even read it or at least casually glance over it.
