Review of Fright Night (1985) by Christopher S — 19 Oct 2010

I know its a beloved cult classic for many, but I found it to be pretty awful. It does get better toward the end, and there are some cool creature effects - but for the most part its an excruciating slog through a half-baked plot with some horribly annoying cartoon characters (Stephen Geoffreys is especially unbearable).

Possibly worth watching for the strong gory ending if you can actually sit through the rest of it.
