Review of Fright Night (1985) by Jules E — 11 Dec 2011
I certainly do not consider this in the league of the cult horror classics that were created back then like Halloween or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but still Fright Night is a decent film very well told and made that goes to be enjoyable and entertaining.
What I liked most about it is that it doesn't waste anytime with silly introductions. Instead the story kicks off immediately introducing us to the characters on the way. And even though the way the plot goes is very tricky but they managed to pull it off without making it seem cheesy.
The performances are as in all the 80's horror films bad and the effects are cheesy.
