Review of Fright Night (1985) by Derek H — 28 Jan 2012
This is a great Vampire film for it's time, the 1980's. I love it!!! It's funny in places yet still manages to be really scary and make you jump in places. I first saw this when I was 15, and now at 21 I still love it. Though at 15 I was a little scared of it, but i'm not anymore. Evil Ed was really funny and it was so sad when he died, or did he??? Charlie and Vincent as a team are really funny. It has a few sad parts too, but is one really great Vampire film.
The best lines:
Jerry Dandrige: "Welcome to Fright Night! For real!".
Peter Vincent: "Apparently your generation doesn't want to see vampire killers anymore, nor vampires either. All they want to see slashers running around in ski masks, hacking up young virgins.".
