Review of Friends with Money (2006) by Michael B — 06 Nov 2007

Took quite awhile to grab me, but it eventually did and with strong performances all around, its turns into an engaging little film. I'm surprised because I thought it'd be a effeminate bore, and I didn't initally think that the crazy hot Jen Aniston could play pathetic all that well.

But the film picks up and Aniston reels you into her character. Frances McDormand, Catharine Keener, and Joan Cusack are three of my favorite actresses of their generation and to see them mixing it up together was interesting.
