Review of Friends with Money (2006) by Molly M — 08 Mar 2008

With the names behind this film I thought I was in for a great indie treat, but what I got was something slow with no real ending or story. Don't get me wrong it had its cute moments. I especially love the part where the different couples were coming back from the benefit and the two husbands both tell their wives that they were the most beautiful women there, but overall this film seemed to just fall short for me.

It seemed as though Holofcener could have done something really great with this, but instead did almost nothing, and the ending? Was there one? It was just disappointing.
