Review of Friends with Money (2006) by Mark B — 25 Apr 2012
For a movie w/ some holes, it was entertaining. The movie had some good one-liners. They did a great job in casting for this movie. However, the movie also had some a couple of spots in it where you would ask yourself, "What were they (the characters) thinking?" I also wondered why some of these couples settled with their mates.
I felt like I never had a chance to find out what makes these folks tick. The last issue I had was this: in 2006, Jennifer Aniston (Olivia) turns 37; Joan Cusack (Franny) turns 44; Catherine Keener (Christine) turns 46; & Frances McDormand (Jane) turns 49.
What I don't understand is how the four of them are friends? They were not classmates were they?
