Review of Friends with Kids (2012) by Dalton V — 02 Aug 2012
This is a very moderate film. With such a similar cast to Bridesmaids, I was expecting a big more raunchy laughs but this felt more dramatic then comedic. The film centers on three couples, all with kids, all raising them in their views of normal ways, but the central story revolves around two friends who want a kid but don't want the intimate connection of marriage.
My Woody Allen radar gun went off the charts with this one! But anyway, the actors give good performances but the ending is predictable and the majority of the characters aren't really likable and the dialogue feels very forced.
But, surprisingly, Megan Fox actually does a good job and along with Adam Scott give the most natural performances.
