"An intriguing plot from writer/director/actress Jennifer Westfeldt, Friends With Kids is a good rom-com. Adam Scott finally gets a lead role and gives a brilliant performance, I knew he was always funny but he has great dramatic skills as shown in here and Jennifer Westfeldt is not bad herself. She brings in some of the Bridesmaids crew: Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jon Hamm & Chris O'Dowd. Unfortunately, they are limited (this is Scott & Westfeldt's movie) but all are great especially Wiig showing her serious side a bit here.".
"Megan Fox & Edward Burns round out the cast. Now this may be out of left field but I sure hope not but Megan Fox might have improved a little bit, just a little bit of her acting at least for this movie. This is the best i've seen from her, she's not showy here but she actually did a fine job here. She didn't hesitated with the lines given to her, she was pretty good.".
"Just to be clear for those who might think this is going to be an hilarious riot like Bridesmaids, Friends With Kids is NOT that at all. While it has some laughs, it's a serious rom-com and a good one.".
