This isn't really a comedy, though the core plot shares some similarities to rom coms. It has some absolutely heart-wrenching scenes (way to go, Jon Hamm) and, though at the end it doesn't entirely have the courage or conviction to end bleakly, it is still a somewhat depressing film.
