Review of Friends with Benefits (2011) by Davidtejada — 23 Jan 2018
The way director Will Gluck managed to blend the comedy genre with the sex and love stuff is unbelievable and it's actually one-of-a-kind movie. Yup, it's a surprising movie with natural gags and probably the reality of love at a young age. It shows some feelings people might experience and the comparison between love, friendship and sex. NO DOUBT that Timberlake and Kunis' chemistry was OUTSTANDING, probably there's almost zero chance for this movie not to provoke you a laugh/smile. ///// While the great news are the chemistry, the feelings and the comedy theme... basically the whole problem is that the argument is an ordinary situation (be with the girl/ guy you want, having problems with him/her, etc.) which was not bad but for some people is, also it sometimes doesn't have many charming moments nor passion (except the final part and few more). Finally for wasting amazing actors as Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, etc.
In conclusion it provides a great comedy, and incredibly melting genres we had never thought they would work, adding the good chemistry of the two protagonists.
