Attempting to replicate other successful cyber horror films (like Unfriended), Friend Request utilises Facebook as the tool for creating the scares. When I say scares, I mean that loosely as this film has practically none.
The premise sounded promising, but unfortunately this is just another low-budget horror failure. I did not care for the characters, I was glad that they got disposed of. The ending was terrible and rushed, suffice to say I was bored watching this.
