Review of Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) by Anthony B — 22 Feb 2010
"Fried Green Tomatoes", a movie that I believe is deserving of more reconition and praise. The story is a amazing collection of drama, comedy, and action; bringing tears, and laughter. The actresses are perfect for their roles, including Kathy Bates, who at the beginning palys a dependant, housewife, but after a while grows and matures into an independent, strong womaen, and she plays both roles in a way that is beyond words.
But we mustn't forget the actrul story, which on the surface may seem duh, but at it's heart is a amzing record of four women, who go though their lives, gorwing stronger every minute of it. This movie deserves the Best Picture, Screenplay, and Actress that I think the producters pushed for, and did it masterfully.
