Review of Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) by Cecily B — 01 May 2010
A bit lengthy to tell a story, but it was somewhat entertaining. Authentic "southern feel" to it. I didn't feel as though I was very invested or attached to any of the characters. It toyed too much with the idea, yet the lesbians never hit the scene.
Had it been honest in this sense, it might have seemed more real.
